KOLODIUM GLASS

LENORA

POP-UP EXHIBITION: 20 February 2026

On February 20, 2026, the Kolodium Glass collective (Julie Lesová, Oliver Švolík a Alžběta Kešnerová) presented Lenora at Galerie Fotografic in Prague — an exhibition introducing a completely new technique of collodion photographs in glass, developed in collaboration with writer Aleš Procházka.

The works on display are a reflection on Lenora, a village surrounding the ruins of a defunct glassworks in the Šumava mountains. The crumbling remains of the factory were captured using the wet collodion process directly onto glass, merging the subject and medium into a single material dialogue.

Accompanying the photographs was an original short story by Aleš Procházka, narrating the fictional expedition of a treasure hunter in search of the legendary Prasklo — said to be hidden somewhere within the ruins.

The exhibition also featured a selection of glass objects from the Kolodium Glass workshop.
