VIDEOART: MIGUEL ROZAS BALBOA

In his video projects, Mugiel Rozas examines the socio-cultural aspects and relations between politics and the mass media. His minimalist video essays will be presented in the form of a solo exhibition in the newly created space for video art.

Miguel Rozas Balboa (* 1971) is originally from Chile. He studied fine arts and new media in Santiago de Chile (ARCOS), Würzburg (FHWS) and Toulouse (ESAV). In 2013, he participated in the master’s program of the Universität der Künste (UDK) in Berlin under the guidance of German video artists Maria Vedder and Heinz Hemigholz. He now lives between Brussels and Berlin.
