EXHIBITION OPENING: AT THE END OF FEBRUARY 2024

In one functionalist apartment building, build by Alexander Skutecky (1883 – 1944), Jana Šturdíková examines how the relationship of its inhabitants to culture and housing changes during the 20th and 21st centuries. The transformations materialize in the architecture and original home design. The artist watched how the original architectural and design elements in individual apartments and in the common areas of the house changed during the occupancy by the tenants, how they modified, removed or preserved them in their private space. www.janasturdikova.com
