JAKUB RAJNOCH

Exhibition: November / December 2021

In his intermedia projects, Jakub Rajnoch has long been thoroughly researching light and movement, as basic physical quantities that still offer an inexhaustible number of uses in the scientific, technological and artistic environment. In the latest Film Sideways project, he asks a seemingly simple question: What happens when we look at a film screening from the side? and brings a concrete and completely unique answer to it.
Jakub Rajnoch (* 1978) is a graduate of the Sculpture Studio led by Jindřich Zeithamml, the Studio of Intermedia Work led by Pavla Sceranková and Dušan Zahoranský and Studio of New Media led by Tomáš Svoboda at the Academy of Fine Arts. In addition to the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, he also graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, which gives him the necessary basis for his artistic and scientific experiments. He lives and works in Prague.
